The goal is to spread a layer on top of your skin so that it can travel down the hair follicle. You are using your fingers to spread the products out.

The cream should absorb almost completely in 10 minutes. The skin may still look a little wet after 10 minutes. If you have a lot left on your skin after 10 minutes, you are applying too much. You can rub in whatever residual cream is left after 10 minutes.

It’s easiest to apply as the last step before sunscreen. If you are using other products first, it may take longer for the cream to absorb, so just adjust the 10/5 minute timelines to take into account the delay in absorption.
