Prep & Post Care for your Spray Tanning Appointment!

Please arrive on time to your spray tanning appointment! They run on 15 minute intervals so even if you're 5 minutes late to your appointment, we may not be able to take you at that time! We recommend coming 15 minutes early incase you forgot to remove deodorant or facial serums/moisturizers.

How To Prep

  • Step 1

    Make sure you shower before your spray tan, so your skin is clean. During that shower please make sure you do all of your shaving and most importantly EXFOLIATE YOUR ENTIRE BODY! ONLY exfoliate your body with an abrasive tool like an exfoliating mit. DO NOT USE a sugar body scrub product of any kind. Majority of body scrub products contain oils which will leave a film on your skin preventing the tan solution from developing properly on your skin.

  • Step 2

    Come to your appointment with absolutely no products on your skin. No oils, creams, lotions or deodorant. SKIN NEEDS TO BE BARE!

  • Step 3

    Come to your appointment in loose, dark clothing (sweat pants, sweat shirt)! During spray tan, you can dress down to completely bare or wear what ever you feel comfortable in. If you do choose to leave any clothing on during your spray tan, make sure those articles of clothing are darker in color.

  • Step 4

    If you have excessively dry skin on your hands, feet or any other areas of your body, please do your best to moisturize those areas for a few days leading up to your appointment! Spray tans thrive on hydrated skin! 

Post Spray Tan Care

  • Step 1

    Do not get your skin wet before your recommended rinse time provided to you by your spray tanning technician.

  • Step 2

    Follow rinsing directions provided to you by your technician.

  • Step 3

     Moisturize your body after every shower, but make sure your moisturizer is not primarily oil. Excessive oil application to the skin following a spray tan can lessen the duration of your spray tanning results.

  • Step 4

    We do sell spray tanning taking-home kits for $22 to help you prep for your spray tan and also take care of it afterwards!

Other Common Services & When To Do Them!

  • Facials

    Do not do facials the day of, except for the dermaplaning add-on we offer directly before your spray. You can do them up until the day before except for invasive treatments like microneedling and/or chemical peels. Do not spray tan your face following more invasive treatments for at least 7 days. Just know getting a facial too soon after a spray tan will lighten the spray tan and make it fade faster.

  • Lashes

    Lash fills and Lash Lifts can be done the day of your spray tan, but only beforehand, not after. DO NOT get a lash fill or lash lift for at least 24 hours post a spray tan.

  • Brow lamination

    Do not get a Brow Lamination AFTER your spray tan, it will remove the color. You can do a Brow Lamination beforehand, but we prefer spraying once the regenerative post care cream has been removed after the 24 hour wait period post Lamination.

    such as waxing/sugaring/laser: Do not wax/sugar/laser for at least 1 week after your spray tan.
